Planning applications of all kinds:
If you are planning any kind of development, a survey of the area is required to produce digitized plans and elevations of your property or development.
A design brief is the first stop to ascertain your requirements. The next step is to see how it will fit it into the architectural constraints of your location, environment and the current planning policies.
Particularly with listed building applications there is certain amount of research that the planning department requires to properly consider an application. We will make sure all the relevant documentation is included in your package of information to ensure the best possible case is made for your development.
Sometimes it is unclear if a proposed development is likely to be given planning permission. We produce a reduced package to get a better idea of whether your proposal is likely to be accepted.
A wide range of building types and alterations do not need a full planning application. The planning department does sometimes need written and visual notification to verify your development conforms to their guidelines. A minimal package of information can be provided to suit these requirements.
The application process takes the council 8 weeks to procure. As your agent, any correspondence will be filtered through planning drawings to ensure any queries highlighted by the local authority will be dealt with promptly.
